Question: Can your products run on Corporate Networks or Administrator controlled networks. Answer: Our products now run on this type of network and products have been updated. Until recently our products would not work and we are pleased to have now resolved this problem.
Question: Why is the magazine download an EXE file, is it safe! Answer: Our products are safe. EXE programs can have a bad name due to virus and trojan delivery methods. Our EXE programs are used to allow our magazines to self run and eliminate the use of third party programs like extra readers. All major programs on PC's use the EXE format to run programs and without it nothing would work. Mac's run the APP format in the same way.
Question: Can DNA products work on VISTA Answer: Yes, our products run on Vista. Because our products are in EXE format and self running, a pop up in Vista can appear. Simply highlight the DNA magazine icon, right click using your mouse to gain properties and change the tab that says "allow to run as administrator". Due to Vista and its new security features this permits use of DNA products on Vista.
Question: Will DNA products work on an Apple Macintosh? Answer: DNA products only work natively on the Microsoft Windows operating system. Intel-based Macs can run DNA products using the open-source software, Darwine, or when the Windows operating system is installed on a separate partition on your Mac.
Question: What versions of Windows does DNA work on? Answer: DNA products work on 2000, XP and Vista platforms. Win98, SE and ME are not supported.
Question: Can I print the pages of DNA products? Answer: To prevent copyright infringement printing has been disabled.
Question: Why do you need a key when using the product for the first time. Answer: Publishers need to protect their copyrights and prevent illegal distribution. Using a key prevents copyright infringement and product being distributed.
Question: What are the system requirements to run DNA products? Answer: We have successfully tested DNA products on older machines and operating systems. We recommend a minimum processor speed of 500mhz and a minimum of 256mb of RAM.
Question: What is the best screen resolution to view DNA products? Answer: With our new "Puretext" format, resolutions can be any size.
Question: Can I use DNA products offline. Answer: Yes. DNA products are standalone. Once they are downloaded they can be used without connecting to the internet. |
